Poverty in the presence of the name “rich” that is restricted to it and appears in it, if it is called “rich” it is valid for it because it gives generosity and blessing, and it is the giver who gives to be blessed and may give to be worshiped, so this is not a giving of honour, rather it is a giving in return, for there is a request in it. God Almighty said, “And I did not create the jinn and mankind except that they should worship Me,” so giving this Creation is the giving of a request, not the giving of a gift and blessing, and the giving of an endowment is the giving of cattle, not of a request for gratitude or compensation.
