Those to whom God has bestowed blessings, of the prophets, the truthful, the martyrs, and the righteous, and those are good companions, even if it were not for His saying, “Those are good companions.” We include these martyrs with the blessing that is given to the companions of this verse, for even if they were monotheists and unbelievers, with the presence of the Messenger to them, their accompanying the believers was not good, for they disturb the believers’ faith. They and these martyrs whom you blind This verse is for the scholars of God who are believers after knowing what He, Glory be to Him, said, since that brings us closer to Him in terms of what God said or what the Messenger said who came from God, so He gave precedence to the truthful to the martyr and made him equal to the Prophet, for there is no intermediary between them for the light of faith to connect with the light of the message, and the martyrs have the light of knowledge consistent with the light of the Messenger
