And among them, may God be pleased with them, are the heirs. They are three types: the unjust to himself, the thrifty, and the one who precedes in good deeds. God Almighty said: “Then We have given as inheritance to the Book whom We have chosen from among Our servants. So among them is an unjust to himself, and among them is a thrifty, and among them is a Good deeds, God willing, that is the great virtue. And he, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, said, “The scholars are the heirs of the prophets.”

Our Sheikh Abu Madin used to say in this regard: One of the signs of the aspirant’s sincerity in his will is his fleeing from creation, and among the signs of the sincerity of his fleeing from creation is his presence for the truth, and among the signs of the sincerity of his existence for the truth is his return to creation.
