The most astonishing thing about this matter is that I am commanded to have good thoughts of people and are forbidden to have bad thoughts of My servants. We have seen that someone whom we know is immoral has performed ablution and prayed, and when the name of immorality was pronounced upon him while worshiping him, and where is the good opinion from the bad opinion of him, and the future, we have no knowledge of it in him, and the past? We do not know what God did to him, and the ruling is due to the obedience that he is obedient to, so a good opinion is better for the servant if he is, and there is a need for curiosity. Someone whom I trust in his religion told me about a man, a jurist, an imam, and an extravagant speaker. He said to me, “I entered upon him in a gathering where alcohol was being served while he was drinking.” With the group, the wine was emptied, and it was said to him, “Reach out to so-and-so who comes to us with wine.” He said, “I will not do it. I have never
