Since the intention of the House was a present intention because it seeks in its inhabited form, by God, people should make their hearts like the House, seeking in its state that the Truth be its inhabitant, as He said, “Seek Me in the hearts of those who know Me.” This is the meaning of being broken in it, and it is preparation in the capacity with which God mentioned that the heart is fit for Him, the Almighty, and whoever He opened, so he had to search his heart to see in it the traces of his Lord, so he should act according to what he saw of the divine effects in it. This is a different situation. By breaking, he means God, and by opening, he means the heart, as we mentioned.
