Since fasting is a ruling that God added to it and exempted the fasting person from it despite the fact that he commanded him to fast, then the fasting person should spend the duration of his fasting looking at his Lord in it so that it is valid that he is fasting and not neglecting it, for the truth does not add it to it so that it is valid that it is fasting, and it is not valid except with the servant’s fasting in this manner. Which God has prescribed for him to perform, and if he does not fast according to what He has prescribed for him, then he is not fasting, and if he is not fasting, then what is the fast that God will return to him? The fasting person may think that he is fasting, and he has done an act during his fast that necessitated for him that act to deviate from his fast, such as backbiting. If something falls from him or something like it, then he is breaking his fast, that is, he is not fasting, and if he does not eat, then if that action has expiation and he perf
