And if the bodies had not been gathered in the Hereafter, the souls of ascetics and knowers in the Hereafter would be filled with the regret of missing out and would be tormented. If it were limited to spiritual, not sensory, Paradise, then God created in the Hereafter a sensory Paradise and a moral Paradise and permitted to them in the Sensual Paradise what their souls desire, and removed from them the pain of needs, so their desires are like the will of truth. If it is attached to what is desired, then it will be. The people of happiness did not eat to ward off the pain of hunger, nor did they drink to ward off the pain of thirst. And when they preoccupied themselves here with God in terms of what He assigned them, they proceed in matters according to the scale that He set for them, fearing that they would go too far or lose the scale.
