This is the doctrine of our sheikh, Abu Yaqoub Yusuf bin Yakhlaf Al-Kumi, and none of my sheikhs agreed with me except him, so I benefited from him in sports, and he benefited from us in his achievements. He was my student and teacher, and I was like that to him, and the people were amazed at that, and not one of them knew the reason for that, and that was in the year five hundred and eighty-six. Fathi had advanced to my practice, and it was a dangerous position, so God granted me the opportunity to obtain the practice at the hands of this sheikh, may God reward him on my behalf with all goodness.
