And generosity is giving in proportion to what is needed, without more, for a benefit that the giver sees, because if it exceeds that, it may result in the doom of the giver. God Almighty said, “And if God had extended the provision to His servants, they would certainly have transgressed in the land.” But He sends down in proportion to what He wills, and altruism is giving what you need at the time, or an illusion. The need for it, God Almighty said, and they give preference to themselves, even if they are in poverty.
