God Almighty said, “He who purifies it has succeeded,” meaning the soul, because he has made it into something on which zakat is not obligatory, and the servant is commanded to zakat himself. Then God bought from the believers their souls, so some of the believers sold his soul from God after the obligation of zakat on him. If the servant believes, it is obligatory. He has to pay zakat on his soul, so he sold it from God after the obligation of zakat
