And whoever restricts his existence to the presence of his Creator has understood himself, since the mind is taken from the head of the animal, and in reality the head of the animal is taken from the mind. The mind takes precedence over the animal’s leash, for if it had not, it would not have reason. If this rope is used to pull the animal, it restrains it from being released. It is what he calls a leash.
