The West is in its body and it is imagined that its movement is in the direction of its purpose, which is the Almighty’s saying: “And it appeared to them from God that which they had not expected.” When they woke up from the sleep of their heedlessness and arrived at a house and set off on their journey, they sought what they intended, so it was said to them, “From the first foot, you left it, but you only increased from it a distance.” They say, “O I wish we could be turned away, but there is no way to do that. For this reason, they were described as being veiled from their Lord, which they intended by heading on a path other than the one He prescribed for them .
