And if the soul is perfected and the manifestation is correct for it in the opposite direction, and it is a full moon night, it may turn to its nature, and the darkness of its nature appears in it, and that darkness prevents it from its rational, faith-based, divine light, just as a shadow did. The earth is between the moon, which is in the position of the soul, and the light of the sun. As much as you look at its nature, it is veiled from the light of divine faith, so that is its eclipse. This is the eclipse of the moon. As for the eclipse of the sun, it is the eclipse of the mind, for God created it to make sense of God what He takes from Him, so the soul, which is in the position of the moon, came between it and the truth.
