The eclipse is one of the signs of God through which God frightens His servants. If it occurs, the Sunnah is for people to rush to prayer, just like all other frightening signs, such as earthquakes, intense darkness, and an unusually strong wind.

The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, was asked. Concerning the eclipse, he said: If God manifests himself to something, everything submits to Him.

And the hadith is not proven through the narration. The meaning is correct, and according to us, the manifestation continues forever, but people’s ignorance of it has led them to say, or be told, something like this non-existence. He taught them, so breaking the habit is only in teaching, specifically, just as the break of the habit was in making the listeners hear the praise of the pebbles, and the pebbles are still praising, and there is no doubt that souls are not stirred and shaken except at signs that break the norm.
