Traveling affects the prayer, shortening it with spending, and combining it with a difference. As for shortening the prayer, the scholars agreed that it is permissible for the traveler to shorten the prayer, except for Aisha, for she said: It is not permissible to shorten the prayer except for the one who is afraid, according to what the Almighty and Majestic says: If you fear that those who disbelieve will tempt you and say,

p> The Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, only shortened his hair because he was afraid.

They disagreed about that in five places, which I will mention, God willing.
