So that the rule for a boy should be distinguished from the rule for a man. If there are two men, he places one on his right and the other on his left. If he wishes, he places them behind him. If it is a man and a boy, then the rule for them is the same as the rule for two men. If it is a woman, she is behind the imam if she is alone. If there is one man with her, then the man is on the right of the imam and the woman is behind him, even if there are more.
