Suitable occasions are more important than non-suitable matters, and the rank of the imam is higher than that of the one who is praying behind him, so he should be in that best and highest rank, and he should be in a higher position because he is in the position of imitating him, so he must have honor over the one who is praying behind him, as it is a position for the one who is praying behind him. That is why he is called an imam, and he has two states and two states. The first two states are that he is an imam and is followed together in one state, so he follows the weakest of those being led in his prayer, so he is an imam, and the one being led follows him in his bowing, prostration, and all his actions, so he is an imam. The other two states are a state in which he is called a praying person, so he is with his Lord in this state, and he is an imam for others, so he has a state. Another, whoever takes into consideration his being a praying person, is prevented from having
