The scholars differed regarding the imamate of al-Mufdool. Some of them permitted it and some prohibited it.

The Messenger of God, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, prayed behind Abd al-Rahman ibn Awf without disagreement, and he fulfilled what he had missed and said, “Well done”
