[ The sayings of the jurists regarding reciting the Qur’an and praising God while bowing ]
(Check the original text in Arabic ...)

As for reciting the Qur’an while bowing, some say it is forbidden and some say it is permissible. What they agreed upon is glorification in bowing and they disagreed about whether there is a limited statement in it or not. Some say there is no limit on that and some say limit it in that, which is to say in one’s bowing, Glory be to my Lord the Great, three times, and in prostration, Glory be to Him. My Lord, the highest, three times, and those who say this are those who believe that it is obligatory, and that the prayer is invalidated by abandoning it, and the lowest is three times, and among them are those who do not say that it is obligatory, and they are the majority of scholars, and there are those who say that the imam should say it five times until the person behind him realizes that he should say it three times.
