[ The reward for a bad deed is bad, so forgiveness is better ]
(Check the original text in Arabic ...)
The Messenger of God, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, said about the man who asked for retaliation against a murderer who is his guardian. The Messenger of God, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, asked him to pardon him or accept blood money, but he refused, so he said, “Take him.” So he took him. When he stood up, the Messenger of God, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, said: Either Killing him was like what He meant by the Almighty’s saying, “And the recompense for an evil is an evil like it.” That statement reached the man, so he returned to the Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, and refrained from killing him.
He bases on this the issue of good and evil, which is a big issue that people have delved into, and this chapter is not the place to be explored. About the truth of that, even though we have mentioned it in this book .
