Most people’s motives were to know the rulings of the Sharia in their outward appearances, and they neglected the legal rulings in their inward beings, except for a few, and they are qualified. God’s way, for they searched for that, both outwardly and inwardly. There was no ruling that they legally decided on their outward appearance except that they saw that that ruling had a relation to their inwardness. They took on that all the rulings of the Sharia, so they worshiped God with what He legislated for them, outwardly and inwardly. They won when the majority lost and a third group prevailed and went astray, so they took the Shariah rulings and changed them.
