It is a marine aquatic animal, so it is one of the elements of life suitable for Paradise, and the liver is the house of blood, which is the house of life, and life is hot and humid, and the vapor of that blood is the soul expressed by the animal spirit, which has the life of the body, so it is good news for the people of Paradise that life will remain upon them, and as for the spleen in the animal’s body, it is the house of dirt, for it is in it that it collects. The dirt of the body is what the liver gives of corrupted
