Then there is nothing in acts of worship that attaches the servant to the positions of those who are close to him, which is the highest position of God’s saints from an angel, a messenger, a prophet, a saint, and a believer, except prayer. God Almighty said, “And prostrate and draw near.” In this case, God boasts about Him to those who are close to His angels, and that is because He says to them, “O my angels, I brought you near from the beginning and made you.” Among the special features of My angels, and this is My servant, I have placed between him and the place of nearness many barriers and great obstacles, such as psychological purposes, sensual desires, the management of family, money, children, servants, companions, and great terrors. So he cut off all of that and struggled until he prostrated and approached, and he was among those brought near.
