Muhammad ibn Abdul-Jabbar al-Nafari, who was one of the people of the night, said: “The Truth stopped me in the position of knowledge,” and he mentioned, may God be pleased with him, what the Truth said to him in that position. Among the things he said to him in that position was, “O my servant, the night is for me, not for the Qur’an. The night is recited for me, not for praise and praise.” God Almighty says, “Indeed, there is a long glorification for you during the day, so make the night for me as it is for me, for in the night I descend, and I do not see you in the day in your place of residence. So when the night came and I sought you and descended to you, I found you sleeping in your comfort and in the world of your life, and then there is only night and day, and I did not find you in the day, and I have made it yours.” And I did not come down to you, and I handed it over to you, and you made the night for me, so I came down to you in it to talk to you, to confer with you, an
