It was afternoon and the sun was about to set, so Nadlah took the captives and the spoils to the foot of the mountain, then he stood up and made the call and said, “God is great, God is great.” He said, and someone from the mountain answered him, “You are great, O Nadlah.” Then he said, “I bear witness that there is no god but God,” and he said the word sincerity. O Nadlah, and he said, “I bear witness that Muhammad is the Messenger of God.” He said, “It is the religion, and it is the one about which Jesus, peace be upon them, was given good tidings.
