Al-Khidr had dressed him in a rag in the presence of Qadab al-Ban, and the sheikh had put it on him in the place where Al-Khidr had dressed him in his garden, and in the same condition as It was his custom to wear it, and I had worn Al-Khidr’s rag in a further way than this, from the hand of our friend Taqi al-Din Abd al-Rahman bin Ali bin Maimun bin Abi al-Tawzari, and he had worn it from the hand of Sadr al-Din, the sheikh of the sheikhs in the Egyptian lands, and he was the son of Hamawayh, and his grandfather had worn it from the hand of al-Khidr and from At that time, I said in the form of the rag, and people put it on when I saw Al-Khidr. I considered it, and before that I did not say in the now-known rag, because for us, the rag is only an expression of companionship, etiquette, and character. T
