Al-Fudayl bin Iyad, Commander of the Faithful. We narrated that the Commander of the Faithful, Harun Al-Rashid, performed Hajj, and with him was Al-Fadl bin Al-Rabi’. He said, “The Commander of the Faithful came to me, so I quickly went out to him and said, ‘O Commander of the Faithful, if you were sent to me, I would come to you.’ He said, ‘Woe to you, this has been in my mind, so see for me a man to ask him,’ so I said.
