Among these are My Names, covered by Baha’i from Chapter 473. If it were not for the Names, we would not have feared, nor hoped, nor would we have feared, nor worshiped, nor heard, nor obeyed, nor were the Named addressed to us, nor were the Named addressing us. And if it were not for the rulings that have them, which are the narrations, the Names would not have been known, for they are hidden to them, and the beauty is on the Named, and he said the Rules of Names. He summed up the names and clothed them with splendor, and the names summed up what was called and clothed it with splendor, and through us the names were designated, so we clothed him with the image of splendor, and in him the names appeared, so by him splendor was established, for he is the one named. And he said, the names of the names differed only because their meanings differed, and if not for that, they would not be distinguished for us, so for him they are one, and with us they are many.
