It is every knowledge that you acquire out of necessity or as a result of looking into evidence on the condition that you find the face of that evidence and its similarity in its kind in the world of thought that collects and specializes in this art of science. This is why they say that some of the research is valid and some of it is invalid.

Knowledge of conditions, and there is no way to them except through taste, so no rational person is able to define them or base their knowledge on evidence, such as knowledge of the sweetness of honey, the bitterness of patience, the pleasure of intercourse, love, ecstasy, longing, and similar types of sciences. These are sciences that it is impossible for anyone to know unless he is characterized by them, tastes them, and is similar to them of their kind in People of taste are like someone whose place of taste is dominated by yellow bitterness, and he finds honey to be bitter but it is not so, for the one who approached the place of taste was yellow bitterness.

The sciences of secrets, which is the science that is above the level of the mind, and it is the science that infuses the Holy Spirit into splendor, is unique to the Prophet and the saint, and it is of two types. A type of it is comprehended by the mind, like the first knowledge of these categories, but this knowledge of it was not attained by sight, but the rank of this knowledge gave this and the other type in two types. From it, it joins the second science, but its status is more honorable. The other type of science of news is that which includes truth and lies, unless the informant has proven his truthfulness to the informant and his infallibility in what he informs and says, like the prophets’ narrations, may God’s prayers be upon them, on the authority of God, such as their informing about Paradise and what is in it.

So his saying, “Indeed, there is a Paradise” comes from the knowledge of
