The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, said: Whoever is cut off from God, all his supplies are sufficient for him. And whoever is cut off from this world, God will give him all of it. And whoever tries to do something disobeying God, it will be farther for him than he hoped for and closer than what he feared. And whoever seeks people’s praise for disobeying God will return to Him who praised Him. And whoever pleases people with God’s displeasure, God will grant it to them. And whoever pleases God with people’s displeasure, God will protect him from their evil. And whoever does good between himself and God, God will protect him from what is between him and people. And whoever rectifies his inner self, God will rectify his openness. And whoever works for his hereafter, God will protect him from the affairs of his world .

The Messenger of God, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, said, “May God have mercy on a servant who spoke and was deafened or remained silent and then said hello. The tongue has power over anything for a human being. Indeed, the speech of a servant is entirely upon him except the remembrance of God, or enjoining what is right, or forbidding what is wrong, or reconciliation between believers,” so he said. Muadh ibn Jabal, O Messenger of God, shall we be held accountable for what we speak? He said: Is there anything that topples people on their noses into Hell other than the jests of their tongues? So whoever wants safety, let him preserve what his tongue has said, guard what his heart contains, do good deeds, and let his hopes be short.

The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, said, “Do not curse the world,” for what a blessing the believer’s mount is on which he achieves good and through it is saved from evil. If the servant says, “May God curse the world,” the world says, “May God curse us who disobey his Lord.”

We said from here. Qatada, may God be pleased with him, said: “No one is fair in this world. It is blamed for the wrongdoing of the wrongdoer in it, but it is not praised for the goodness of the doer of good in it. On the contrary, some of them say in this world,” if he is tested. The world revealed to him an enemy in the guise of a friend.

This person only wants the life of this world, which he does not intend to do with the afterlife, and God has condemned that.

The Messenger of God, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, said, “Make mention of it often and condemn pleasures. If you mention it in times of hardship and abundance for you and are satisfied with it, then you will be rewarded, and if you mention it in the abundance of its hatred for you, then you will find it, then prove that death is the interruption of hopes, and nights are long periods of time, and that a person has a day between two days.” He went on counting his deeds and sealed them, but the day has yet to come and he does not know, perhaps he will not reach it.

The Messenger of God, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, said: The provision is divided, and no one will go beyond what is decreed for him, so be generous in seeking, and that life is limited, no one will exceed what is destined for him, so hasten and accept the expiration of the term, and the deeds will be counted. He will not neglect them, small or large, so increase your good deeds. Work, O people, there is comfort in contentment, there is eloquence in frugality, and there is comfort in asceticism, and every work has a reward, and every coming is near .

The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, said, “I have never seen those who were taken by surprise and disturbed after reassurance, who remained on suspicions and inclined to desires until the messengers of their Lord came to them, but they did not realize what they had hoped for, nor did they return to what they had missed. They continued on to what they had done and regretted what they had done.” They did not leave behind, and remorse is of no use, and the pen has dried up, so may God have mercy on the man who did good, spent intentionally, spoke the truth, controlled the motives of his desires, but they did not control them, and disobeyed his own command, and it did not destroy him.

The Messenger of God, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, said, “O people, do not give wisdom to anyone other than those who deserve it, lest you oppress it. Do not withhold wisdom from those who deserve it, lest you oppress them. Do not punish an oppressor, lest your bounty is nullified. Do not show off to people, lest your work is nullified. And do not withhold what exists, lest your goodness diminish. O people. Indeed, three things are a matter whose soundness is evident, so follow it.” And a matter whose wrongdoing is evident, so avoid it. And a matter whose error is disputed over you, return it to God, O people. Except that I inform you of two matters whose provision is light and whose reward is great. The likes of which God has never found: silence and good manners .

The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, said: People will be given the reward on the Day of Resurrection for one of three things: either from a doubt in the religion that they committed, or from a desire for pleasure that they chose, or out of anger over a lust that they committed. If a doubt appears to you, postpone it with certainty, and if a desire arises to you, suppress it with asceticism, and if it is stubborn. You have wrath, so repel it by pardoning. Indeed, a caller will call on the Day of Resurrection: He who has a reward from God, let him stand up, and those who pardon people will stand up. Have you not seen the words of His Majesty, “Whoever pardons and makes amends, his reward is from God.

The Messenger of God, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, said: God Almighty says, “O son of Adam, you are given your provision every day, while you grieve, and every day your life is diminished, and you rejoice in what is sufficient for you, and you seek what overwhelms you. You will neither be satisfied with a little, nor will you be satisfied with a lot .
