The first Lām remains for him, and he said to God, “All that is in the heavens and all that is on the earth,” and he said to him, “Dominion over the heavens and the earth,” so if the Lām and the Alif were removed, he would remain a god, which is what you said, “He is,” and He has come, “He is God.” And other than this word, I think, you will find nothing other than this, and he was an illiterate man from among the common people. His view and consideration was like this: You should show off in religious matters and decorate the Qur’an and mosques, and do not look at what the legislator says about that, that it is one of the signs of the Hour, as those who have no knowledge say, for the Messenger of God, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, did not condemn that, and every sign of the approaching Hour is reprehensible, but rather he mentioned it.
