Good news from God. He said about his servant Yahya, peace be upon him, a prophet from among the righteous. He said about his prophet Jesus, peace be upon him, an old man and among the righteous. He said about Abraham, peace be upon him, and that in the Hereafter he will be among the righteous for the sake of the three things that came from him in this world, which are his saying about his wife Sarah that she is his sister, with interpretation, and his saying, “I am He is weak in his apology and his words. Rather, the greatest of them did it, establishing an argument. With these three, he will apologize to people on the Day of Resurrection if they ask him to ask his Lord. He opened the door of intercession. For this reason, his righteousness in the Hereafter was mentioned, as he was not held accountable for that, just as God Almighty said to Muhammad, may God bless him and grant him peace, “May God forgive you of your past and future sins.” He said May God pardon you, why did you give them permission? He gave good news before reproach, and this verse for us is special good news. It does not contain reproach. Rather, it is an interrogation for the one who was fair and gave the people of knowledge their due. As for Solomon and his likes, peace be upon them, he told us the truth that he said, “Admit me, by your mercy, among your righteous servants, and if they are righteous in the same matter before God, then they are right.” Between someone asking for righteousness and someone who is known for it, despite it being a servant’s epithet that does not befit God. What do you think of the guardian name with which you may call God in the sense of the active one? This should not be applied [Page 231 of the Cairo edition] to the servant’s name.
